Side Table / Night Stand by Jacques Adnet
France 1947/1955

Oak wood side or night table designed by Jacques Adnet in 1947 for the Brest, France model apartment in the International Exposition for Urbanism and Housing. This model was manufactured by the Atelier Saint Sabin in the early 1950s and later re-editioned by Manufrance in 1955. The table has nicely rounded edges throughout, angularly cut and tapering legs, an x-shaped intersecting detail on the right and left sides, and a single drawer on the bottom with a black enameled metal pull.
