“Open Sky Crosby” Chair by Gaetano Pesce
NYC 1995
One of the first Crosby chairs from Gaetano Pesce's "Open Sky Collection" that were made by him in his NYC studio in 1995. The chair has a seat in the silhouette of a face profile, seven legs, and an x-shaped stretcher between the two front legs that are all in a rigid resin. The curved body has a round opening in the middle and is formed from a more flexible resin that was created by a process that consisted of pouring the material into a partially opened, half-mold.
