“Contour” Chair by David Colwell

Lounge or side chair model “Contour” comprises a clear acrylic shell seat, formed by heat setting process of a single sheet of acrylic with a wooden press, supported on a white enameled steel trapezoidal shaped frame. It was designed in 1968 by David Colwell during his time at ICI Plastics Division and originally manufactured by 4s Company Ltd.
