Tilt-Top Table by Dale Broholm
USA 1992

Single commissioned, handmade table made and signed by Dale Broholm in Bubinga and Ebony woods. The square top has intersecting perpendicular lines with round, inlaid Ebony details and four triangular details in Abalone. The base comprises three arched legs, each having a wooden sabot at the foot, and a carved wooden connective support. The tilting top has a brass latch mechanism on its underside that locks the top flat and also releases it to an upright position for space and/or display purposes. Can be used as a game, dining, or center table.
