“Anchise” Floor Lamp by Toni Cordero for Artemide

A striking floor lamp of commendable quality designed in 1990 by Toni Cordero for Artemide comprises two chrome plated vertical center supports that can pivot to allow varied positioning from its boulder-shaped base that has a patinated bronze finish. The top is sheathed with knitted steel chaine maille that drapes from the horizontally spiraling and wrapping support atop, diffusing the emanating light from the lamp’s two socket light source. Lighting is controlled by the original, dimming switch, and the lamp is labeled on the backside of the base.
